The next stage of the design I started to design my own typeface for my micro genre pop reggaeton. The idea in mind was to create a hand rendered or hand drawn typeface both practically and digitally, a typeface using a strict grid, and considering using objects.
My first typeface design uses a 2x2 grid for each character which is why the baseline alters slightly for characters like 'e' and 'g.' Although this design decision reflects a more urban graffiti like aesthetic. Graffiti and urban is a visual reference that translates to my micro-genre.
