After researching existing books relating to my context it was noticeable there are common themes. Most books that exist are about location of wine, tasting or food pairing. This was interesting to an extent but so many of these books already exist. This encouraged me to explore the context of wine in a much broader sense. This encouraged considering the concept of intoxication or (drunk). This offered a more interesting exploration into the content and overall aesthetic or production methods that could be used in the making of the book.

This book design challenges basic conventions with unfolding pages and multiple directions called Kapow! By British writer Adam Thirlwell. This has encouraged exploration challenging layout and typography within my own publication.
