SB2 Logo & Business Card Initial Ideas

Initially I worked on ideas for the logo both with existing typefaces and creating unique letterforms in illustrator creating variants from different brushes. The typefaces gave a cleaner certainly professional aesthetic to the logo although the brush tool created a far more interesting shape and texture which made the logo design even more unique to the client.

Due to the client adamant on a black background the colour choice of the logo had to be high contrast to remain legible. Although the monochrome colour scheme is only a starting point it can be altered to the clients preference if she decides she'd like this to be changed. The high contrast colour scheme is most legible and works well as a starting point to showcase a range of formats or layout to the client.

After creating these initial ideas I contacted the client and requested feedback to ensure the design was heading in the right direction or the way the client envisioned. Feedback received established which design or designs to refine further throughout the design development process.

Simran's written feedback:
"They are beautiful"
"The middle one I love, I also love that last one"

After Simran's feedback I will refine the ideas shown below as she liked them the most.
