SB1 : Creative Pool Absolut Brief : Final Outcome & Production



FINAL OUTCOME / PRODUCTION

The final design meets the requirements set out by the brief whilst also visualising a point of difference against competitors. This makes the design eye catching and not just fit for purpose. Although the live brief deadline has been and gone the outcome works well. Feedback received also highlighted this so acknowledged it should be submitted to Absolut anyway if possible via email. 

The design uses a subtle creative approach linking to both past and present components surrounding Titanic’s heritage and history. The design also works well as a tribute to Belfast with a design that stands out against main competitors including Belfast Gin. 

The style of the design aims to use tonal colour and textured imagery to create a design that is creative, innovative and a great tribute to Titanic and Belfast. This conveys a unique style to the audience but still represents the brand image of absolut. The design uses Absolut’s typeface of Futura bold condensed to remain an aesthetically bold brand. The edgy design uses shape and layout to create an edgy contemporary design. 

The design has a strong link to history and culture through the Titanic Belfast theme enabling the design to express contemporary culture a key element of the Absolut brand personality. The design is also appropriate of the premium vodka landscape becoming synonymous not only with art and culture but also nightlife.
