Jez Burrows work uses the authors concept behind writing the book as the concept of design for this book cover. The idea behind it came from the author going on a road trip and writing the first draft of the novel entirely on a type-writer. This is an alternative way of looking at design to create the visual aspect of a book cover. The illustration shows the concept by combining a type-writer into a road. This concept works well and is a great way to intrigue readers whilst creating and interesting design.
