Erik Carter Book Covers

Erik Carter is an author who writes thrillers and mysteries. As well as being a trained historian and design professional, his travels have led him across America, where he has done everything from hosting a television show to shooting documentaries in the desert to teaching at a college. These experiences gave Carter the background he needed for writing fiction.His work inspired me because of his approach to visual language including layout and typography. His work uses a consistent or the same layout, visual language and typography. Carter's work doesn't necessarily have a style but his work has a lot of idea generation behind his finalised outcomes. This inspired me to generate a lot of ideas in the development process to create the most effective final outcome, critically analysing each idea through this process to ensure I can resolve any problems which may occur.
